Expect Hertha to line up in their usual 4-2-3-1, with the double pivot of Kevin Sessa and Paul Seguin shielding the back four while the creative trio — Marten Winkler, Soufian Gouram, Josip Brekalo — buzz around Sebastian Grönning up top. That is a front four with real quality at this level. Brekalo can knife through the lines, Winkler provides width and directness, and Grönning is a proper focal point. They will dominate possession and look to pin Admira back.

Admira will likely sit in a 4-4-2, compact and narrow, looking to frustrate and hit on the break. They are second-ball merchants, happy to let Hertha have the ball and then spring forward. But that approach is risky against a side with Hertha's individual quality. The wide areas are where this will be won. If Hertha's full-backs — Deyovaiso Zeefuik and Julian Eitschberger — push high, they can overload Admira's midfield and create the space for Brekalo and Winkler to exploit.
