Expect Sogndal to set up in a 4-3-3, trying to control the middle of the park and feed their wide forwards. They'll want to knock it around, stretch the pitch, and get the full-backs high. But that leaves space in behind, and Bryne will be licking their lips. Bryne, under their current coach, are likely to sit in a compact 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1, happy to let Sogndal have the ball in non-dangerous areas. They'll press in bursts, then drop into a low block and hit on the break. The key battle will be in the central midfield: Sogndal's double pivot against Bryne's two banks of four. If Bryne can win the second balls and spring their wide runners, they'll cause real problems. Sogndal's full-backs will be caught upfield, and that's where Bryne's wingers can knife through. Set pieces will also be crucial — Bryne are physical, they've got big lads who attack the ball.
