Napoli come into this one with the weight of the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona behind them, and that counts for plenty in Serie A. Daniele De Rossi has them organised, pressing high, and playing with a swagger that feels very much like the Scudetto-chasing Napoli of old. Recent results have been solid, even if the brief doesn't hand us a string of scorelines, the underlying picture is clear: this is a squad with real quality in midfield — Lobotka, McTominay, Anguissa — and a front line that can hurt anyone on their day. They'll smell blood against a Como side still finding their feet at this level.

Como, for their part, are no pushovers. Cesc Fàbregas has them playing progressive, front-foot football, and they've invested heavily — Morata and Nico Paz arriving, Mattia Liberali joining from Catanzaro, and a 1-1 draw away at Udinese on Matchday 1 showing they can compete. But that draw also exposed their limits: they created chances but lacked the killer edge. Their recent fixtures include two difficult tests, and this is one of them. Away from home, against a top-four side, they'll need to be perfect. We don't see that happening.
