It is a shape designed for solidity first, with the wide midfielders dropping in to form a bank of four when out of possession. Eibar, under their coach, are expected to deploy a 4-2-3-1. Magunagoitia starts in goal, with a back four of Cubero, Arana, Elgezabal and Arbilla. The double pivot of Aleix Garrido and Mada will look to control the tempo, while Adu and others support the lone striker. This is a team that likes to dominate the ball, push the full-backs high and create overloads in the half-spaces. The battle in midfield will be crucial: Eldense's flat four against Eibar's double pivot and attacking midfielder. If Eibar can get their playmakers on the ball in pockets, they will knife through the lines. Eldense will try to make it a dogfight, pressing aggressively and looking for set-pieces.
